Alton12 volt permanent magnet A.-C. generators are supplied with their PODTRONICS solid state rectifying-regulators. The Alton 150 watt alternator replaces any type of old D.-C. dynamos such as Lucas E3L, E3N, E3H, E3HM-LO, E3LM-LO or Miller DVR, DM3G, D6, DV, long type, short type. Moving to Alton AC generators improves the performances and the reliability of the electrical charging system. Swapping 3 inch dynamos for modern brushless generators is an alternative to electronic voltage / current regulator and refurbished dynamo field coil, armature and brushes.
