Détection – Anticorps Maladie de CarréEchantillon – Sang total/sérum La mesure du statut des anticorps anti-CDV (Canine Distemper Virus – Maladie de Carré) dans le sang est très importante pour éviter une sur-vaccination. Le test d’anticorps RapidSTATUS CDV est conçu pour mesurer les taux d’anticorps anti-CDV dans le sang, le sérum et le plasma. Le test de séroneutralisation (SN) est considéré comme la méthode de détection par excellence pour mesurer les niveaux d’anticorps dirigés contre le virus CDV. Pour une comparaison de sensibilité et de spécificité, 87 échantillons ont été recueillis chez des chiens vaccinés âgés de 1 à 3 ans. Ces échantillons ont été testés avec les tests SN et RapidSTATUS anti-CDV. Performance: Sensibilité 97% / Spécificité 100% Canine distemper virus (CDV) is a highly contagious, systemic viral disease found in dogs worldwide. Clinically, canine distemper virus causes fever, leukopenia, GI disorders, respiratory problems and frequently pneumonic and neurologic complications. Dogs are commonly vaccinated for distemper virus to protect them from the disease. The measurement of antibody status to CDV in blood is very important to avoid over-vaccination. RapidSTATUSTM CDV antibody test is designed to measure antibody levels to CDV virus in blood, serum and plasma. Serum neutralization (SN) test is considered the gold standard method of detection for the measurement of antibody levels to CDV virus.Test Validation: For a sensitivity and specificity comparison 87 samples were collected from 1-3-year post-vaccinated dogs. These samples were tested with SN and RapidSTATUSTM CDV antibody tests.
